Collaborating, working and growing together since 2013 the Branch Out Team has built a reputation based on providing exceptional quality of service and support through creative, community minded programming for families in the East Kootenays. There is a talented group of special people who are dedicated and passionate about the success of each child and family.

Behaviour Consultant, Clinical Adviser, Owner
Over 15 years experience working with individuals with challenging behaviour, Autism Spectrum disorder or developmental disabilities. Collaborating with families, communities and professional team members Simone has an undeniable passion for supporting people. Simone's education in psychology/neuro-science (B.A. Psych) and Applied Behaviour Analysis (M.A.) provides the foundation of the Branch-Out program.

Senior Behaviour Intervention Supervisor, Owner
Tabitha is constantly working to better support for families and children while leading staff by exemplary example.
Douglas College graduate with Behaviour Intervention Diploma and continuing education in parent coaching and undergraduate degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis.
With 10 years experience as a behaviour interventionist and senior supervisor Tabitha is the structure of support for Branch-Out children, families and staff.

Brenna brings an amazing energy and valuable, diverse variety of experience to the Branch-Out team.
ECE assistant, former pre-school teacher, Douglas College Behaviour Intervention Certificate graduate. Brenna's passion is in working with children, families, and communities.

Cari lives for creating creative ways to work toward goals for children.
With an undergraduate degree in Science majoring in kinesiology, Cari is passionate about building learning into movement and other creative avenues. With 7 years experience working with children and youth, Cari's enthusiasm and creativity weaves itself into learning goals, one-one or group sessions. She brings a unique and valuable skill to the Branch out team.
We are so happy to have Cari on our team! She is constantly feeding the Branch Out team with creativity, enthusiasm, dedication and ingenuity!
Behaviour Interventionist, Elk Valley
Heather's passion for positive experiences in learning and play is undeniable.
Heather has a Bachelors Degree in Social Work. Positive experience and supporting children and families through all circumstances and environments is where Heather shines.
She has been working with children and young people with disabilities and learning difficulties in a variety of settings for many years, including outreach support work, center based respite program for young people with Autism, youth care work, and facilitating kids camps in the UK and in Fernie.
Her well rounded experience allows her to creatively support learning and success in any environment.
Heather is enthusiastic about her continued work to support children and families with Branch Out!
Behaviour Interventionist- Elk Valley
Emma's friendly nature and enthusiastic personality is infectious for anyone working with or near her!
Emma has an undergraduate degree in Psychology and recently completed a masters degree in War and Psychiatry in the UK. Prior to landing in the Elk Valley, Emma has worked in aged care and as an academic tutor in Australia, Switzerland and in the UK.
Recently moving to Fernie, Emma is excited to bring her passion and enthusiasm for working with children to Branch Out and Elk Valley.
Behaviour Interventionist - Elk Valley
Krista has been collaborating with the Branch Out staff for a number of years, she is a true asset to our program and all the chidren and families with whom she works. Krista is innovative, motivated and loves learning and working with kids!
Her exceptional skill set, true passion and creativity has inspired massive growth. Krista attended the University of Calgary for Linguistics/Speech Language Sciences and is happy to have settled in Golden, B.C.
Outside of her work Krista is passionate about camping and hiking.
